Would you like create learning experiences that meet every participant where they are at, but struggle with making learning truly personalized?
Over the last 4 years, NOW has developed a methodology to accompany participants in their individual learning journeys.
Now, we are ready to share this methodology with you!
From January 20th to February 17th 2020, we are offering the 2nd edition of the Learning Facilitation online course, combining an introduction to the methodology with best practices from our programs.
ABOUT THE ONLINE COURSE
What is learning facilitation?
Learning Facilitation draws on contemporary theories of learning, which stress both the need for personalization and the need for community in learning.
On the basis of a framework of competences, participants chose and pursue their own learning goals with the support of a Learning Facilitator and their peers.
The methodology combines self-driven learning with strong personal connections and community hosting to enable deep, individual and yet shared learning experiences for every participant.
Who should take this course?
This course is for educators, trainers, facilitators, youth workers, teachers and anyone whose work is related to learning.
Learning Facilitation is especially suited for those working with participants over a longer period of time (i.e. more than just one workshop at a time) and who have some freedom in designing their learning settings.
In general, the NOW methodology is very flexible and we will reflect together on how to adapt Learning Facilitation to your own context.
